Clinic Staff

Our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants are qualified professionals and animal lovers!

Manpreet N.

Office Manager and Veterinary Assistant

Manpreet loves being hands-on and spending time with animals as a Veterinary Assistant, and handles clinical matters as the Office Manager. She has worked at Peninsula Crossing Animal Hospital since 2018; she plans on going back to school one day to become a Veterinary Technician.

Manpreet has one dog, Zara, a "runt" Pitbull-Boxer mix who is 8 but still has the energy of a puppy. Zara loves peanut butter and belly rubs, visits to the clinic, long walks and hikes.

Manpreet was born in India and has lived most of her life in the Surrey area. She enjoys travelling and exploring BC, and recently took up camping!

Davinder Saini

Veterinary Technician

Davinder recently moved to Canada from India, where he earned his Master's Degree in Veterinary Surgery and many years of clinical experience. He is fulfilling the requirements to become a Veterinarian in Canada. As a Vet Tech, he supports Dr. Saini with surgeries, post-op care and procedures.

Most of his immediate family is still in India, along with his dog, Jackie, a black and white mix he adopted from the streets; he plans to bring her to live here, too.

On his time off, he is enjoying exploring his new home, travelling around BC. He enjoys camping and hiking with friends, and playing volleyball.

Deanna M.

Social Media Manager and Veterinary Assistant

Deanna has been a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Peninsula Crossing Animal Hospital since May 2022. A graduate of the Veterinary Assistant Program at Douglas College, she aspires to further her education and become a Veterinary Technician. She is passionate about assisting with patient visits and procedures, as well as managing engaging and informative social media content for the clinic.

Deanna is a proud Axolotl parent to Señor Squishy, a real-life Pokémon who brings joy with his love for swimming, hiding, and his constant smile. Deanna's love for animals doesn't stop there; her heart belongs to dogs. She has plans to start fostering soon and hopes to adopt another furry companion someday. Her first dog, Ebony, will forever be known as the one who ignited her love for pets.

Currently residing with her sister's Chihuahua-Maltese, Mazzy, Deanna is always eager to lend a helping hand with dog-sitting. Beyond her love for animals, she finds creative inspiration in painting and enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of British Columbia through camping, hiking, and leisurely city walks.

Stephany C.

Veterinary Assistant

Stephany has a Bachelor of Science degree, and recently started working as a Veterinary Assistant at Peninsula Crossing Animal Hospital. After volunteering for a cat shelter, and witnessing all the animals in need on a trip to Europe, she was inspired to make a career of helping them. She'd love to become a Vet Tech or Veterinarian one day.

Stephany has two cats; one of her cats is 22 years old! Max is an orange tabby and still living his best life. Felix is 10, a grey and black tabby. She also has two dogs; Loki is a loving black and white Maltese, and Kaydo is a Caine Corso puppy who doesn't know how big he is.

Stephany grew up in the area and lives with her family. She enjoys travelling around the world, especially to Europe and Asia. She likes going for walks with her dogs to Tynehead, and spending time with them in her big forested backyard.

Brittney W.

Veterinary Assistant

Brittney is a graduate of Vancouver Career College's Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist program. She would like to further her schooling and become a Veterinary Technician. She loves animals - taking care of them and being around them.

Brittney lives in Surrey with Xena, her 4 year old brown, black and white tabby "chunkster" cat. Xena loves treats and playing, and has a cute meow that sounds like a telephone ringing!

Brittney likes to hike and go for walks in her spare time. Her hobbies include drawing, and painting abstracts and miniatures.

Our Clinic Cat

Sterling

Meet Sterling, the treasured resident of our veterinary clinic! At 12 years young, Sterling is our purr-fectly shy and enigmatic feline companion. With a penchant for privacy, he spends his days expertly navigating the art of hiding.

While Sterling may be elusive during daylight hours, his mysterious aura adds a touch of intrigue to our clinic environment. His well-honed hiding skills have made him a master of the subtle disappearing act. Yet, when the moon rises and the clinic grows quiet, Sterling emerges from his secret sanctuaries to grace us with his presence.

Living rent-free and embracing the role of clinic enigma, Sterling enjoys the freedom to explore the nooks and crannies of our space. His gentle disposition and silent companionship are a comfort to both our team and the patients we serve.

Though he may not be a cat of many words, Sterling's ability to find solace in the shadows reminds us of the importance of sanctuary and the quiet strength of those who choose to stay behind the scenes. We're honored to have Sterling as a valued member of our clinic family, a living testament to the unique charm that each pet brings to our lives.
